I have never had a massage before. What do I wear? The most important thing while receiving a massage is that you are comfortable. We tell our clients to undress to their level of comfort. You may undress completely, or wear as much clothing as you feel comfortable with. You will be covered at all times (with the exception of the body part being worked on).

Should I tip my therapist? How much? Tipping is appreciated, but not expected. We would rather you come back soon than tip us. Feedback is always welcome. Our policy is to exceed your expectations.

Do you use oils and lotions? We use our own. It is water-dispersible and will not stain clothing. If you have allergies to nuts or oils, please let your therapist know.

Will it hurt? Even deep tissue massage should not hurt. Our therapists use a “relative pain scale” to ensure we are always working with what is comfortable and acceptable to you.

Do you clean the table/chair after each client? Absolutely. Fresh, clean linens are used for every session.

What are the therapists’ qualifications? All of our therapists are graduates of 1000-hour certificate programs. Most have graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with specific training in: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Chair Massage Orthopedic, Neuromuscular and Myofascial Techniques, Shiatsu and Swedish. All of our therapists are certified or nationally certified. Each therapist is a fully-insured member of the AMTA. Read their bios for more specific information.

Can I get a massage if I’m pregnant? Yes! We have specially trained pre-natal therapists. It’s wonderful for an expecting mother and her child.

Can I get a massage if I have AIDS? Of course. However, please inform your therapist before the session. Do not receive massage if you have any open lesions.

Is it okay to receive massage if I have a history of physical abuse? Yes, however it is a good idea if you are receiving counseling to introduce your counselor and massage therapist. They can coordinate the best possible way to make your session as comfortable and productive as possible.

Do you have a shower? Yes, ask your therapist for a towel before the start of your session.

May I request a male or female therapist? Yes, However, please understand that we offer therapeutic massage, not adult entertainment.

What happens if I have to cancel my appointment? Please just give us 24 hours notice, by telephone (303) 938-0388. Otherwise, you will be required to pay for the session in full.
